Madrassas in Assam will not shut down | Ghanti Bajao
The government is not planning to shut down madrasas completely but change the 614 madrasas into regular schools that are functioning on government funds in Assam. There are claims that 614 institutions include 100 Sanskrit teaching schools as well.
