Joint statement of PM Modi and his British counterpart Boris Johnson | ABP News
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson held bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital, Delhi, on Friday. The talks included many issues including defence and trade. After this, he said, in a joint statement, that relations between India and Britain have strengthened. He added, "We had a wonderful conversation today and we have strengthened our relationship in every way."
Boris Johnson said that the partnership between India and Britain was one of the defining friendships of their times. The UK is creating an India-specific open general export licence to reduce bureaucracy and reduce delivery times for defence procurement.
