Delhi's Temperature: 1.9 degrees C recorded in Aya Nagar

Indian Meteorological Department: 8.30 am temperatures- Safdurjung enclave 2.4, Palam 3.1, Lodhi Road 1.7, Aya Nagar 1.9. ). The cold wave situation in north India will further intensify in the next two days, the IMD said even as mercury on Friday dipped to a minimum of 3.6 degrees Celsius here as the capital seemed headed for its coldest winter since 1901. It has also predicted dense fog over Delhi which could affect visibility.

The Met department also predicted rainfall which could add the winter chill next week.
