Congress & Opposition raises question over DCGI's nod to Covid vaccines

Some Congress leaders, including Anand Sharma, Shashi Tharoor and Jairam Ramesh, on Sunday expressed serious concern over the approval given to Bharat Biotech's Covid-19 vaccine for limited use. They said that this work has been done in a hurry and can prove to be dangerous. Apart from this, Congress leader Rashid Alvi supported Akhilesh Yadav, saying that the government should take the leaders of the opposition into confidence.
