CAA Protest: Aligarh University to remain close until Jan 5

Thousands of students at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) came on streets to support Jamia protest against Police late at night on Sunday. The police tuned to lathi charge and tear gas to control the mob. Students pelted stones on the police. Several were injured. As per the information, the situation at AMU is normal now. University admin has announced a holiday until January 5, 2020.
