BJP, AAP blame each other in RS over delay in Nirbhaya case convicts' hanging
Calling for implementation of the judgment in the Nirbhaya case at the earliest, Rajya Sabha Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday said that people are getting restive due to delay injustice.
The Chairman gave the observation after Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh raised the issue of delay in the hanging of the convicts of the Nirbhaya case. On the other hand, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday held Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government responsible for the delay in the execution of death sentence awarded to the four convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya gang-rape case.
