Baghpat SI suspended for keeping beard without permission
In an unusual case, a constable was suspended in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh for growing his beard. According to reports, he grew his beard without the permission of the higher authorities. He was warned but took no action.
The SP said that the constable was suspended action for repeatedly disobeying instructions.
