5G likely to be launched by next year: RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani
In a mega-investment announcement, Reliance Industries (RIL) Chairman Mukesh Ambani on Wednesday said that Google will invest Rs 33,737 crore in Jio Platforms for an equity stake of 7.73%.
He also announced that Reliance Jio has developed a complete 5G solution from scratch.
Speaking at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of RIL, Ambani said that the "Made-in-India" technology can be deployed and launched in a year's time once the spectrum is available.
