Illegal Maradu flats demolition complete after 4 months of SC order

Kochi: All the illegal apartment towers in Kerala have now been demolished. Visulas show how Golden Kayalorum apartment was demolished through a controlled implosion on Sunday afternoon by pressing of a trigger at 2.30 p.m, 30 minutes behind the original plan. Alfa Serene complex with twin apartment towers in Maradu have also been demolished. Four months ago, the Supreme Court had ordered demolition of the apartment blocks at Maradu.
