Massive flood alert in Bihar's Katihar as Mahananda river crosses danger mark| Weather Update

On Thursday, the water level of the Mahananda River was recorded above the danger mark. According to information received from the flood control division, the water level of the river is still stable.
The erosion has intensified in Lalganj Bhagat Tola village of North Lalganj Panchayat in the block amid continuous increase in water level. Seeing the form of erosion, the villagers have left their homes and took shelter at higher places.
