Lion is called the ''king of the jungle for its raw power and strength. But there are occasions when the big cat fails in its attempt to hunt. A video that is going viral on the internet shows a group of hyenas rescue their friend from the jaws of a lion.
The video shared on YouTube by Latest Sightings opens to show a pack of hyenas feeding on a prey. Suddenly there is some commotion and a lion can be seen rushing towards the pack. On seeing the lion, the hyenas disperse quickly. However, one of them is caught by the lion in its jaws. Soon the pack returns and attacks the lion one by one while the hyena manages to escape from its jaws.
Since being shared, the video has amassed 225k views, 1,500 likes and tons of comments.
