'Sea Calling...': Mercedes Gets Stuck During Stunt At Surat’s Dumas Beach | Watch Viral Video

A Mercedes SUV stunt at Surat’s Dumas Beach went awry as the luxury car got stuck in the sea. The viral video shows the vehicle bogged down in wet sand despite beach driving restrictions.

What began as an apparent adrenaline-fueled joyride turned into a humiliating experience when a luxury Mercedes-Benz SUV got trapped in the wet sands of Dumas Beach, sending social media into a frenzy over the weekend.

The high-end vehicle, reportedly driven by a man attempting to perform stunts, was spotted edging dangerously close to the shoreline—an area clearly marked off-limits to vehicles due to safety and environmental concerns. The car’s misadventure took a turn for the worse when sudden rain transformed the already soft terrain into a quagmire, leaving the SUV half-submerged and hopelessly stuck. In the video the SUV can be seen stuck deep in the beach as the front grill of the car was completely submerged inside the beach and only the bonnet was visible in the front with both of the tires were inside the wet sand.

A now-viral 36-second video captured the dramatic scene: the stranded Mercedes bogged down in the muck, while two men scrambled to clear a path, desperately trying to create traction for the tyres. Their efforts, however, were in vain.

An X user posted the video with a caption that says, "At Surat’s Dumas Beach, a Mercedes decided to play submarine. The rich brats tried explaining, but the car had its own attitude, “I’m not made for roads anymore… sea calling."

According to eyewitnesses and local media reports, the vehicle was driven onto the beach in defiance of longstanding restrictions. Despite regular police patrols designed to prevent such violations, the group managed to reach the water’s edge undeterred. Once there, nature took its course—tides came in and receded, pulling the SUV deeper into the soggy sand.

“Gai-Bhens(z)-paani mein,” another user made a funny remark on the situation.

A third user wrote, "There's a certain satisfaction to receive from seeing rowdy car owners suffer this way," in the comment section showing the level of frustration for people who don't follow the basic norms and gets stuck in situation like these.

"I didn’t buy a Mercedes just for this reason, Money isn’t even a question..," says another user.

Authorities are now investigating how the vehicle slipped past patrols to reach the restricted zone. As of now, no official action has been confirmed against those involved.
