A video of an Indigo pilot making a special in-flight announcement for his wife is trending on the internet. The viral video shared by the pilot’s wife on her Instagram page is winning hearts with people showering love for the couple, describing the gesture as “sweet”.
The video posted last week is of IndiGo pilot Alneez Virani who can be heard welcoming on board the flight his wife, Zahra, who was flying as a passenger.
Sharing the Instagram reels, Zahra wrote: “Being your wife is my greatest blessing, I do not know where to start and what to say.. I am one person who writes LONG captions but for this one.. I have no words. My heart is so full… I do not know what I did so right in my life to deserve this man I will say it again..It’s my greatest blessing being your wife, Alneez. You make me believe that true love is the one that spins your heart and takes it on ONE HAPPY RIDE. I have been on it with you, my love and I thank my god every single day for you”.
The video starts with Zahra waving at her husband from outside the plane as she waited to board the Mumbai-bound flight. Once she took her seat and settled in, the pilot husband can be heard making the special announcement.
“I would like to take this opportunity to make a special announcement. Some days I do get a special flight, and today is one such flight,” Captain Alneez says in the viral video. He then goes on to mention the special passenger he was going to fly to Mumbai. “I have a special passenger on this flight. I have the privilege of flying my wife to Mumbai.”
Alneez adds: “It’s just a small thing for everybody but it means a lot to me. Just wished to share the happiness with all of you on board.”
The video shows a happy Zahra, all surprised and blushing with her pilot husband making her feel special. It ends with Alneez and Zahra standing together posing for a photo.
Social media is all smitten by the gesture and people are posting reactions like 'Awwww", “This is so overwhelming”, “This is just so cute”. One user posted: “That's so sweet. Stay happy together. Love all way from Pakistan.”
