Anti Peak Bengaluru Moment: Tenant Claims To Have Found A Flat In Just One Day, Internet In Disbelief

According to a screenshot shared by Saumil Tripathi, the tenant arrived in the city on Thursday and by Sunday he moved into the flat.

Finding a place to live on rent is never easy, especially in bigger cities. And when it comes to a place like Bengaluru, silicon valley of India, where there is growing migration of software businesses and engineers, the search becomes even tougher as demand for rental properties are high. Also, Bengaluru landlords treat the rental process more like a job application than a simple transaction, which makes finding an accommodation in the city even tougher.

However, in a slight twist to the tale, a tenant has claimed that he found an apartment in Bengaluru in just a day. People can not resist but call it an 'anti-peak Bengaluru' moment.

According to a screenshot shared by Saumil Tripathi, the co-founder and CEO of the Grapevine app, on the micro-blogging site ‘X,’ formerly Twitter, the tenant arrived in the city on Thursday, saw a few houses with a broker in Koramangala on Friday, decided upon the flat on Saturday, and shifted to the new place on Sunday.

''Anti-@peakbengaluru moment,'' read the caption of the post shared by Tripathi.

The post that has so fa gained close to 30,000 views came as a surprise to people who have lived or known the city well.

''That's actually an anti-human moment Either okay with paying a lot of money or compromise for what's there,'' commented one user on the post.

While another user raised concern and wrote, 'Due to layoffs many folks have gone home thus reducing demand for rent homes. In my previous occupancy alone, 6 people left in last 4 weeks.''

"Kamal hai ye kabse hone laga banglore me," wrote a third.

''Aren't these symptoms of recession?, commented a fourth.
