X owner Elon Musk has hailed Apple's new holiday-themed advertisement called 'Heartstrings' that showcased the new hearing aid feature of the AirPods Pro 2. Apple CEO Tim Cook shared this ad on X and praised the teams who made this product come to life. Cook's X post read, “I’m so proud of the many teams across Apple developing powerful technologies that are improving people’s lives. The Hearing Aid feature on AirPods Pro 2 uses your personalised sound profile so you can hear the moments that matter."

In a touching two-minute advertisement, Apple tells the story of a father struggling with hearing loss, which prevents him from fully enjoying his daughter’s voice as she grows up. At his wife’s suggestion, he tries the AirPods Pro 2, enabling him to clearly hear his daughter perform a heartfelt song on the guitar—a gift she received for Christmas. The emotional moment leaves the father visibly moved as the song concludes.
The ad was widely praised on social media for its heartfelt storytelling and was noted for steering away from Apple's typical "woke" advertising approach.

Apple rolled out Apple AirPods Pro 2 with a hearing aid feature, saying, “People with hearing loss wait an average of 10 years before getting their hearing tested and fitted for hearing aids. Leaving millions unaware they’re living with hearing loss and without the assistance they need."
It added, “Now with the world’s first end-to-end hearing health experience, you have access to a Hearing Test that provides scientifically validated results within minutes and the ability to activate a clinical-grade Hearing Aid feature on your AirPods Pro 2 — right from home."
The AirPods Pro 2 are designed to assist individuals with hearing loss by automatically adapting to serve as personalized hearing aids, amplifying sounds such as speech and environmental noise. The AirPods Pro 2 are available at a price of Rs 24,900.
