After a fairly easy streak over the last few days, this one got many puzzle enthusiasts anxious as they failed to make the right guess.

The word chosen for the game today is fairly common, and used in daily parlance.

As you know, the New York Times puzzle gives you six chances to guess the chosen word, and the coloured boxes offer you clues if you are on the right track.
