Vivo T4 Ultra Vs Vivo T3 Ultra: Flagship Clash With Periscope Zoom & Blazing Fast Charging. What's New?

With a price gap of nearly Rs 10,000, the Vivo T4 Ultra clearly pushes for a flagship experience: better processor, enhanced camera system, improved display brightness, and faster charging.

Vivo T4 Ultra Vs Vivo T3 Ultra: Vivo has unveiled a heavyweight contender in its T-series lineup — the Vivo T4 Ultra — which looks to dethrone its predecessor, the Vivo T3 Ultra, with significant performance and camera upgrades. While both phones are sleek, AMOLED-clad machines offering blazing-fast processors and big batteries, the T4 Ultra justifies its higher price tag of Rs 37,999 by upping the ante in several key departments.

Vivo T4 Ultra Vs Vivo T3 Ultra: Design & Display

While the Vivo T3 Ultra sports a generous 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 90.6% screen-to-body ratio, the T4 Ultra opts for a slightly smaller 6.67-inch panel. However, it makes up for the size cut with a peak local brightness of 4500 nits, wider colour gamut support, and a staggering 92.89% screen-to-body ratio — making it an excellent pick for multimedia lovers. Both displays are curved, punch-hole notched, and capable of 1.07 billion colours.

Design-wise, the two phones are neck-and-neck — both are under 8mm thick, with the T4 Ultra weighing in at 193g, just 1g heavier than the T3 Ultra. Colour choices are different though: Lunar Gray and Frost Green for the T3 Ultra, while the T4 Ultra comes in Meteor Grey and Phoenix Gold.

Vivo T4 Ultra Vs Vivo T3 Ultra: Performance & Battery

Under the hood, the T3 Ultra runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus, while the T4 Ultra flexes the more powerful Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset. The latter also comes with Android 15 and Funtouch OS 15, compared to Android 14 on the T3 Ultra. Despite similar 5500mAh batteries, charging speeds differ — 80W Flash Charge on the T3 Ultra vs 90W fast charging on the T4 Ultra.

Memory and storage options also get a bump: 128GB for the T3 Ultra versus 256GB in the T4 Ultra, both with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and expandable virtual RAM support.

Vivo T4 Ultra Vs Vivo T3 Ultra: Camera Battle: T4 Ultra Brings Periscope to the Fight

Photography enthusiasts may lean toward the Vivo T4 Ultra, thanks to its versatile triple-camera setup. It boasts a 50MP main sensor (IMX921), an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with up to 100x zoom and 10x telephoto, supported by OIS + EIS. In contrast, the T3 Ultra keeps things simpler with a 50MP wide camera and an 8MP secondary lens.

Both models share the same 50MP punch-hole front camera with 4K video recording, Smart Aura light at the rear, and a host of creative modes like Supermoon, Dual View, and Pro.

Vivo T4 Ultra Vs Vivo T3 Ultra: Worth the Upgrade?

With a price gap of nearly Rs 10,000, the T4 Ultra clearly pushes for a flagship experience: better processor, enhanced camera system, improved display brightness, and faster charging. That said, the T3 Ultra remains a capable option for those looking for flagship-grade features at a more accessible price of Rs 27,949.

Ultimately, if periscope zoom photography, cutting-edge chipsets, and future-proof software matter most, the T4 Ultra wins by a solid margin. But budget-conscious buyers won’t go wrong with the T3 Ultra either.
