Twitter Down: Users Complain About Not Being To Log In And More

Twitter users on Tuesday faced issues while logging in to the micro-blogging website.

Twitter users on Tuesday faced issues while logging in to the micro-blogging website. According to outage detection site Downdetector.com, Twitter is facing glitches since 11:41 pm EDT which is 9:11 am IST. "User reports indicate Twitter is having problems since 11:41 PM EDT. http://downdetector.com/status/twitter/ RT if you're also having problems #Twitterdown," Downdetector posted on Twitter.

Some Twitter users wrote on Downdetector.com and complained about not being able to use the platform. Meanwhile, Twitter users (who could tweet) also took to the micro-blogging site to report issues with the platform.

Twitter is yet to acknowledge the outage officially. Earlier in February, Twitter suffered a massive outage as the micro-blogging site stopped working for several users who claimed to have received messages like "something went wrong" and "try again" on the screen on the website as well as the mobile app. While some faced issues in sending tweets, several others had problems with checking comments on an existing tweet.

Some users also claimed that Twitter went down completely for them as they were unable to see their own tweets. The complete dashboard of the platform turned blank with the message "Something went wrong. Try reloading."

Social media outages have become common and last month, popular photo-sharing app Instagram also suffered an outage across India on May 25. Instagram was down in several cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow and Indore among others, as per outage detection site Downdetector.com.
