iPhone 15 Pro Max's Demand Outpacing Last Year's 14 Pro Max
The iPhone 15 Pro Max is witnessing more demand than its predecessor iPhone 14 Pro Max, according to famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of TF International Securities, a financial services group. However, production issues continue to plague Apple. As per Kuo, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is garnering the most attention from prospective buyers and it has bedimmed last year's iPhone 14 Pro Max's demand. Notably, the Cupertino-based tech giant needs to address production delays which is said to result in longer shipping times.

PM Modi Joins WhatsApp Channels
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday joined WhatsApp Channels, the instant messaging platform's answer to Meta-sibling Instagram's Broadcast. It allows users to start a one-way broadcasting channel and connect with a large number of subscribers at once. It should be noted that you won't be able to follow PM Modi's WhatsApp Channel unless you receive an invite. To protect users' data, the phone number of the Channel creator will also remain hidden to members. ANI shared a screenshot of the prime minister's Channels' invite on X (formerly Twitter).
Jio AirFiber Launched In India
Telecom major Reliance Jio on Tuesday launched Jio AirFiber, in a bid to take on Airtel's Xstream AirFiber, which is Bharti Airtel's Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) communication systems. It should be noted that the installation of both Jio AirFiber and Airtel AirFiber does not require conventional routers, or fibre-optic cables for in-home Internet access and users can perform the installation autonomously. Jio AirFiber plug-and-play has gone live in select cities in India, including Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Mumbai, among others, on Ganesh Chaturthi, with an aim to bridge last-mile connectivity.
X Suffers Second Outage In 24 Hours
Micro-blogging site X, formerly called Twitter, faced an outage on Tuesday (September 19). This is the second time in less than 24 hours that the platform suffered an outage. Several users complained of facing issues while accessing X. According to outage detection site Downdetector.com, X (Twitter) reported downtime around 7pm (IST) on Tuesday. The outage detection platform itself depends on reports from X, so it is likely that it faced problems itself.
Microsoft AI Team Accidentally Leaked 38TB Private Data
The artificial intelligence (AI) division of Microsoft has accidentally leaked a whopping 38TB of private data via unsecured Azure storage. The data leak incident took place on Microsoft’s AI GitHub repository, including over 30,000 internal Microsoft Teams messages -- all caused by one misconfigured SAS token. The software giant linked the data exposure to using an excessively permissive Shared Access Signature (SAS) token, which allowed full control over the shared files, security company Wiz Research has said.
Google's Deeper Integration Between Bard And Gmail, Docs, YouTube
Google on Tuesday announced deeper integration between its AI chatbot Bard and services such as YouTube, Google Docs, and Gmail, among others. With this, users can use Bard alongside Google apps and services, double-check its responses and access features in more places. This is Bard’s "most capable model " yet, as per the tech giant. Bard integrates with Google apps and services for more helpful responses.
