It has been a while that Google has permitted Android apps to go full-screen, but several developers have not yet optimised their apps to capitalise on the existing large-screen Android devices. However, this situation might soon see a shift, as a recent code uncovered by Android expert Mishaal Rehman (via Android Authority) suggests that the tech giant could mandate app developers to go full-screen, beginning with Android 15 OS.

India has been experiencing a massive shift towards the digital realm and while this brings opportunities and growth, it also opens doors for cybercriminals to exploit the increasingly used digital platforms. Data from Kaspersky Security Network (KSN) report has showed that between January to December 2023, nearly 2 in 5 (or 33per cent) of web users in India faced a form of Internet-born cyberattack.

With 236 Million Premium Users, Spotify Hits Record Subscribers
Swedish music streaming giant on Tuesday posted its results and in its fourth quarter earnings release, the company said that it now has 236 million Spotify Premium subscribers, marking a 4 per cent increase from the previous quarter. This is for the December-ending quarter. Additionally, the total number of monthly active users (MAUs) rose by 5 per cent to hit 602 million.
Meta To Identify And Label AI Content Across FB, Instagram And Threads
Social networking giant Meta is working to identify and label artificial intelligence (AI)-generated images across Facebook, Instagram and Threads as part of its efforts to identify and expose "individuals and organisations actively seeking to deceive people", this year, when both India and the US go to elections. The Facebook parent, on Tuesday announced it was working with industry partners on common technical standards for identifying AI content, including video and audio.
