Realme GT 7 To Debut On THIS Date With A Massive 7,200mAh Battery: What We Know So Far
Realme GT 7 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, promising flagship-grade performance.

Realme GT 7: Realme is gearing up for a major smartphone launch in China, confirming that its upcoming Realme GT 7 will be unveiled on April 23 at 4pm local time (1:30pm IST). The phone is already generating buzz thanks to its beefy battery, high-end chipset, and surprisingly sleek design.
Massive Power, Minimal Bulk
Realme has officially revealed on Weibo that the GT 7 will pack a 7,200mAh battery, making it one of the largest battery capacities seen in a mainstream phone. Yet, the brand claims it won’t compromise on design — the handset will measure just 8.25mm in thickness and weigh 203 grams.
That’s slimmer than its predecessor, the Realme GT 6, which housed a smaller 5,800mAh battery in a slightly thicker 8.43mm frame. The new model will also support 100W wired fast charging, allowing users to top up the mammoth battery in minutes.
Realme has also highlighted the GT 7’s slim silhouette in teaser images, comparing its profile to everyday objects like a straw and a zipper.
Built for Performance and Cool Under Pressure
Under the hood, the Realme GT 7 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, promising flagship-grade performance. To manage heat from the powerhouse chipset and large battery, the device will feature a graphene-backed cooling system.
According to the company, the handset will be built with a graphene-coated fibreglass back panel. This material is claimed to enhance the thermal conductivity of standard glass by up to six times, helping to maintain performance during extended usage.
The phone will also incorporate “ice sense” cooling technology (translated from Chinese), which appears to be Realme’s branding for its next-gen thermal management system.
Display, Software, and More
While full display specifications are still under wraps, the Realme GT 7 is expected to feature a flat, custom-made BOE panel with slim bezels, 144Hz refresh rate, and eye protection features. Security could be handled by an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a premium feature usually reserved for top-tier phones.
The device is also tipped to come with an IP69 rating, making it highly resistant to dust and water. On the software front, it is likely to run a tweaked version of ColorOS based on Android 15, offering a more refined and updated user experience.
Realme's Premium Push
With the Realme GT 7, the company appears to be targeting users who want flagship features like a giant battery, superfast charging, and robust build quality — all without bulking up the phone. It will join the Realme GT 7 Pro, which launched in November 2024 with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and 120W fast charging.
