Meta Quest+ Subscription Service Launched: Price, Compatibility And More

The company is calling its VR subscription service Meta Quest+ and has set its subscription cost at $7.99 per month, company CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced.

Social networking giant Meta has launched its virtual reality (VR) subscription service that would give users access to two new titles each month. The company is calling its VR subscription service Meta Quest+ and has set its subscription cost at $7.99 per month, company CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced. It is compatible with all of the company’s headsets. Meta Quest+ service is available for all owners of Quest 2 and Quest Pro headsets, and the service is forward-compatible with Quest 3.

The company's Meta Quest+ service is available in the Meta Quest Store starting Monday (June 26).

"For just $7.99 USD per month or $59.99 USD annually (a savings of over 37%), you’ll get access to two hand-picked VR titles every month. And when you sign up now through July 31, you’ll get your first month for $1 USD*. With a combination of VR’s biggest hits, hidden gems, and back-catalog classics, this is the most affordable way to grow your library with killer content," the company wrote in a blog post.

It is to be noted that Meta Quest+ is only available on the Meta Quest Store. Prospective buyers can subscribe to lock in their introductory offer of $1 USD for the first month, followed by $7.99 USD per month, the company has added. They can also upgrade to the annual subscription at $59.99 USD for the best deal. This offer is applicable only till July 31, 2023.
