Job Portal Indeed Launches ‘Specialist Media Networks’ In India To Help Corporates In Filling Specialised Tech Job Roles

Indeed stated that roles like 'Technical Lead', 'JavaScript Developer', 'Senior .Net Developer, and 'Senior Technology Analyst' are some of the roles that are the toughest to fill.

The employment platform Indeed announced the launch of Specialist Media Networks in India on Friday. This initiative is designed to assist employers in recruiting for competitive and challenging job positions that are difficult to fill. These specialized networks are industry-focused and facilitate employers in reaching a broader pool of candidates possessing specific and sought-after skills through targeted advertising.

Senior Product Director at Indeed, Abhishek Dhasmana, in a press release said, “In today’s rapidly changing job market, the demand for skilled talent is high in India. We are committed to simplifying the hiring process for Indian employers by providing them with new and efficient ways to fill critical roles more quickly and connect with highly qualified candidates who possess the specific skills they need. Our goal is to streamline the hiring process and make it easier for employers to find the right talent.”

Candidates For Specialised Tech Roles Are Less

Indeed's inaugural Specialist Media Network, known as "Tech Network," aims to provide employers with enhanced targeting capabilities to connect with qualified candidates in the technology sector. The company notes that roles such as "technical lead" have been particularly challenging to fill in India. Additionally, positions like 'JavaScript developer,' 'senior .NET developer,' and 'senior technology analyst' have also presented difficulties in recruitment.

This scarcity of suitable candidates is attributed by Indeed to the limited pool of talent possessing the requisite skills and interest in specialised tech roles. The introduction of Tech Network offers employers the opportunity to engage with job seekers in their preferred online spaces. By opting into Tech Network while sponsoring a job posting on the platform, employers can potentially attract a larger pool of qualified technology professionals. These functionalities are seamlessly integrated into Indeed Ads' existing workflow.

Dhasmana added, “Our new solution provides employers with more options to target and reach qualified candidates, whether they’re actively job searching or passively open to new opportunities. This is just the beginning, based on the need and demand from other sectors, Indeed will launch other Specialist Media Networks.”

Indeed also collaborates with tech platforms like Stack Overflow, Amply and HackerNoon to distribute employer job ads.
