GTA Online Heist Challenge: Rockstar Games To Bring Back The Challenge This Year, Here's What We Know

The makers of the GTA franchise, Rockstar Games, have a lot in the pipeline for 2024. According to reports, GTA Online Heist is one of the things that's in the pipeline. Rockstar Games in its latest official newswire post shared details about the newly released Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC update. In this, the developers announced a brand new 'community Heist Challenge' to be released later in 2024. Not many details are available in the market currently about the upcoming game though.

What Can We Expect From GTA Online Heist Challenge

Despite that, there are still a few things that we can expect from it based on the GTA Online Heist Challenge which was also released by Rockstar Games. This year's GTA Online Heist Challenge is expected to involve a challenge where players, as a community, will have to earn a fixed amount of money in the game by committing heists in a certain period. This concept of heist challenge was first introduced back in 2020 when the players had to earn $100,000,000,000 collectively from any of the available Heist Finales within a time period of six days.

As expected, when a challenge is thrown at the gaming community, they don't hold back at all and excel at it. Likewise, gamers completed the challenge and as a reward for completion, they got a free vehicle, the Veto Classic, and the Panther Varsity jacket.

In 2022, Rockstar Games released a sequel to this challenge but this time the developers increased the target that players had to earn in six days. In the previous challenge, players had to earn 100 billion whereas in this challenge, the mark went up to 2 trillion. Gamers did not disappoint this time either. They accomplished the task and were again rewarded with a free new vehicle, however, this time it was the Déclassé Tahoma Coupe, as part of the Los Santos Drug Wars update.

If the pattern is to be believed then we can expect the upcoming challenge to raise the stakes. There is a high possibility that the money target might be raised and as a reward again they will get a free vehicle which could be an already-released item or a soon-to-be-released ride.
