Samsung's One UI 6.1 Update Rolling Out To More Galaxy Phones. Check If Your Phone Is Listed

While Samsung has started the release of the One UI 6.1 update exclusively in South Korea for the mentioned phones, it is likely that the expansion will reach other markets, including India.

Samsung is expanding the rollout of the One UI 6.1 update to additional Galaxy phones, including models such as the Galaxy S21 series (including S21, S21 Plus, S21 Ultra), Galaxy S22 series (S22, S22 Plus, S22 Ultra), Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. This update brings Galaxy AI features to these model, although the rollout is currently confined to a single market.

While Samsung has started the release of the One UI 6.1 update exclusively in South Korea for the mentioned phones, it is likely that the expansion will reach other markets, including India, over time. However, there appears to be some disparity in the distribution of Galaxy AI features across these devices.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Z Flip 4 are receiving the full range of Galaxy AI capabilities available in the latest Galaxy devices.

Furthermore, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is getting access to the majority of Galaxy AI features, including Circle to Search, webpage and notes summarisation, live language translation, image editing suggestions, generative AI-powered editing, Interpreter Mode, voice transcription in Voice Recorder, AI-generated wallpapers, and auto templates in Samsung Notes.

The Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy Z Flip 3 don't receive as many features. However, one notable inclusion via the update is Circle to Search.

To recall, Samsung originally revealed that the rollout of the One UI 6.1 update will commence across the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in the US starting March. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series was also said to begin receiving the update. According to the handset maker, a majority of users were said to receive the update in April.

Also, following the deployment of AI-focused software update, several users reported encountering touchscreen issues with their Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra models. Some users have even stated that their screens became entirely unresponsive to touch inputs after updating to One UI 6.1. Samsung officially acknowledged this problem on in April 3 and offered a fix. The South Korean company attributed the issue to compatibility conflicts with certain Google app features.
