Apple has introduced an exciting addition to its popular Shazam app, revealing the "Concerts" feature aimed at helping users discover local concerts effortlessly. The new "Concerts" section is seamlessly integrated into the My Music tab, presenting tailored recommendations based on each individual's Shazam history. Users of the app can now easily peruse, search, and apply filters based on their preferred artist, event date, and location. Moreover, they can keep track of trending concerts in their vicinity. It remains to be seen when this feature will be available in India, if at all. 

One of the standout features of this update is the ability to save events directly within the app. This includes setting reminders for upcoming shows, accessing ticket information, and unlocking exclusive content from select artists. These exclusive perks encompass a diverse range of offerings, such as unique watch faces, wallpapers, behind-the-scenes videos, tour photographs, and even set lists from live performances.

This latest Concert functionality in Shazam builds upon the recent concert-related enhancements introduced in iOS 17. Notably, when users search for an artist in Spotlight, they will now receive details about upcoming concerts and convenient options for purchasing tickets and obtaining venue specifics.

The Shazam app, featuring this exciting new Concerts feature, is available for free download from the App Store. What's more, the app's song discovery capabilities are seamlessly integrated into iOS, offering an enriched and seamless experience for users.

iOS 17.1 Rolling Out Now

Meanwhile, Apple has started rolling out iOS 17.1, a follow-up to the recent release of iOS 17. This latest update is primarily aimed at resolving specific issues, with a notable focus on addressing regulatory concerns in France regarding the iPhone 12. It is generally advised to update your Apple devices regularly to ensure smooth functioning and more importantly, safeguarding against data leaks and attacks.

AirDrop gets an "Out of Range" feature, enabling file transfers over Wi-Fi or cellular data. The Music App offers the ability to star-mark songs, albums, playlists, and artists, while UK users can integrate select bank cards into the Wallet app for convenient transactions.
