iOS 19 Leak Teases Apple's VisionOS-Inspired Overhaul With Sleek New Look

iOS 19 is expected to introduce a more dynamic user experience, featuring sleek animations, floating elements, and an overall refined aesthetic.

Apple's annual Worldwide Developers' Conference (WWDC) 2025 is just around the corner, set to take place from June 9 to 13. With anticipation building, a fresh leak has surfaced, hinting at major design changes coming to iOS 19. A video shared by tech insider Jon Prosser of FrontPageTech suggests that Apple’s upcoming mobile OS could take heavy design cues from VisionOS, delivering a more immersive and fluid interface for users.

A New Era of 'Spatial Design'?

According to the leak, iOS 19 is expected to introduce a more dynamic user experience, featuring sleek animations, floating elements, and an overall refined aesthetic. One of the most noticeable changes is the shift towards rounded icons and glassy UI effects, a style some are dubbing ‘Spatial Design.’

Prosser’s video showcases subtle but significant tweaks, including a floating keyboard that enhances the sense of depth within the interface. While core app icons remain largely unchanged in the leak, he speculates that future updates may introduce fully circular icons, aligning with Apple’s evolving design philosophy.

Revamped Camera App On the Horizon

Beyond the UI overhaul, the leak suggests that Apple is also reimagining the Camera app with a more intuitive layout. The update could introduce a streamlined toggle for switching between photo and video modes, accompanied by a dropdown menu granting quick access to features like Depth, Spatial, Panorama, and Style settings. Additionally, at-a-glance controls for Live Photos, Flash, Resolution, and Frame Rate may be positioned at the top for a smoother user experience.

More Surprises Await at WWDC 2025

While the leaked images and video offer a glimpse into iOS 19’s potential design, not all details may be final. Industry insider Mark Gurman of Bloomberg cautions that the circulating visuals are based on older test builds, implying that Apple could still have a few surprises in store. “Expect more from Apple in June,” Gurman teased, keeping the speculation alive as WWDC 2025 approaches.

With Apple poised to unveil iOS 19 in just a few months, excitement is at an all-time high. If these leaks hold true, users may soon experience one of the most visually striking updates to iOS in years.
