Yusuf Pathan lands in India while his luggage was still in Kenya
New Delhi: Yusuf Pathan is not one to get troubled by little things. He is considered a cool customer by the people who have played or talked to him. But a recent incident certainly agitated him enough that he took to Twitter to vent his frustration.
The all-rounder from Baroda recently went to Nairobi, Kenya to play a local tournament for the Stray Lions Cricket Club. Since there was no domestic cricket due to monsoon and he wasn’t part of any of the three Duleep Trophy squads, Yusuf agreed to play in Kenya to keep himself match fit. He flew back to India on Monday, in time to celebrate Eid with his family, but all his euphoria turned into shock when he found out that his luggage was missing.
After enquiring about his luggage with the Kenya Airlines staff, he came to know that it wasn’t there on the flight. The Kolkata Knight Riders player was later informed that his baggage was not loaded on the flight. It was still in Kenya and he would only get it a day after.
Disappointed at the quality of service offered by the international carrier, Yusuf wrote on his Twitter handle: “As I landed in Mumbai today from Kenya figured out my luggage was missing. Once I couldn’t find it contacted the @KenyaAirways.”
“Turns out it was not loaded on the flight, will only get it by tomorrow Worst service I hv experienced with an intrnatnl carrier.”As I landed in Mumbai today from Kenya figured out my luggage was missing. Once I couldn't find it contacted the @KenyaAirways. (1/2)
