'Youtube Kid' of Indian origin Arjun Nair in Australia's NPS team

Townsville: India-origin spinner Arjun Nair will be among the 18-member National Performance Squad (NPS) announced by Cricket Australia for the upcoming Quadrangular Winter 'A' Series, also featuring India A, Australia A and South Africa A starting August 13. Carrom-ball spinner Nair is a part of Australia's U-19 squad and currently plays for New South Wales (NSW). Nair is known as Youtube kid for learning different varieties after watching Sunil Narine and Ravichandran Ashwin on the video sharing site Youtube. The 18-year-old will look to make his list A debut in the next month's four-team series. Sean Abbott, who has debuted in Australia's T20 International side, will be the most experience player of the group with 31 First Class appearances for NSW. The side will be coached by Graeme Hick and Ryan Harris, with Hick saying this side will be competitive and looking to claim victories across the month-long series.
