WWE wrestler Brain Christopher passes away

Washington D.C. [U.S.A.], July 30 (ANI): Brain Christopher, former world wrestling entertainment star, has died at the age of 46.

".@WWE is saddened to learn that Brian Christopher has passed away," WWE tweeted from its official handle.

A Statement on WWE website reads, "Lawler, who is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler, competed during the height of the Attitude Era. WWE extends its condolences to Lawler's family, friends and fans."

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation told CBS News that the wrestling star was found in his cell Saturday morning.

Lawler was arrested for allegedly driving under influence on July 7, reported E! Online.

Brian joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1997. He wrestled in many prestigious championships including, Light Heavyweight Championship, WWA World Heavyweight Championship, and NXT Tag Team Championship. (ANI)
