WATCH: Misbah stops Hazlewood's record but gets out after 6 overs Photo: Twitter @CricketAus New Delhi: Aussies took firm control of the first ever day-night Test between Australia and Pakistan as fast bowlers Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc reduced Pakistan to 97 for 8 after stumps on Day 2 their batsmen had put on a formidable 429 in Brisbane. There was real drama during the 20th over of the Pakistan first innings. Josh Hazlewood removed Babar Azam in the third ball when the Pakistan right handed edged one to Smith at second slip and had Younis Khan (0) caught behind with the next delivery to be on hat-trick. Hazlewood was on verge of history as no one has taken a hat-trick in a day-night Test so far. Anticipating this a vociferous Gabba crowd  created scintillating atmosphere when Hazlewood ran in to bowl Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq. Misbah survived the hat-trick ball but was out after six overs off Jackson Bird for 4, triggering a collapse.
