VIDEO: Shoaib Akhtar makes fun of Ashish Nehra on TV show

New Delhi: Comedy shows have high entertainment value but sometimes the comedians -- even guests and judges -- tend to cross their limits in their attempts to make people laugh. Former Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar and Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh are currently judging a television show ‘Majak Majak Mein’ where the former crossed his limits in making fun of an Indian cricketer. The target of his jokes was popular Indian pacer Ashish Nehra, who is a good friend of Harbhajan. During an act, comedian Suresh Albela brought Nehra as his subject. He said, "A match took place between India and West Indies. The match was between India and West India and was played in the US. It felt like toothbrush Harbhajan ka, toothpaste Shoaib ka aur daant Ashish Nehra saaf kar raha hai (Harbhajan’s toothbrush, Shoaib’s toothpaste, and Ashish Nehra is brushing his teeth)." Everyone was laughing their heart out at this punch but Akhtar completely lost it and dragged the joke further to insult Nehra ji, as he is popularly known. Akhtar said, "By the way, he must be facing problems while kissing as well because of his outgrown teeth’ ‘He always gets kissed from the side." "Dear I love you very much, please turn aside." "If anyone falls down in the well we throw Nehra upside down to get that person up with his teeth." "As a child my mom would hold my hand and take me to the market. But his mother used to hold his teeth." Meanwhile, Harbhajan subtly tried to deviate from the topic but the damage was already done and Akhtar had pulled Nehra completely into the mud on a national television. Nehra has been a subject of jokes in the past as well. He has been trolled many times even after putting in some decent performance for the country. He choose not to respond to the trolls and responded to his critics with his bowling. Now a "Mauka" awaits Nehra to answer Akhtar in his own style.
