PSL 2021: Underdogs Multan Sultans Thump Peshawar Zalmi To Win Maiden PSL Title

The final match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 was played on June 24 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The title match was played between Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi, which was easily won by Multan Sultans by 47 runs.
Batting first, Multan Sultans scored 206 for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Peshawar Zalmi could only manage 159 for 9 in 20 overs. Shoaib Maqsood and Riley Rossouw hit fifty for Multan Sultans, while Imran Tahir took three wickets.

Shan Masood and skipper Mohammad Rizwan gave Multan Sultans a slow but solid start. Both added 68 runs for the first wicket. After the dismissal of these two, Maqsood and Rosu together faced the Peshawar Zalmi bowlers fiercely.
