Mithali Raj Attains Big Milestone, Completes 20,000 International Career Runs

Talking about Mithali Raj's international career, she has scored 669 Tests, 7367 One Day International runs and 2364 T20 International runs so far.

New Delhi: The first ODI of the three-match series between the Indian women's cricket team and the Australian women's cricket team is being played at Mackay's Harrup Park ground. During the match, Indian captain Mithali Raj played a hard-fought innings of 61 runs. During her innings, Mithali crossed the 20,000-run mark in her career.

Also, Mithali Raj scored her fifth consecutive half-century in One Day Internationals. The star cricketer had scored four consecutive fifties against South Africa during the home series last year and now in the first match of India W vs Australia W series, she scored a fifty to score five back-to-back fifties.

Talking about the match, after a brisk start, India lost both its openers Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana quickly, for just 38 runs. After this, Mithali steadied India's innings along with Yastika Bhatia. Mithali was also the top scorer for her team in this match. She scored 61 runs off 107 balls with help of three boundaries. On the back of Shifali's remarkable innings, Indian women's cricket team managed to post a decent total of 225 runs.

Talking about Mithali's international career, she has scored 669 Tests, 7367 One Day International runs and 2364 T20 International runs so far. Mithali has scored a total of 10,400 international runs. In ODI cricket, Mithali has seven centuries and 59 half-centuries.

Few months back, Mitahli had become the only second international cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar to complete 22 years in international cricket. She had retired from T20 cricket in the year 2019.
