Actor Bobby Deol, whose next installment in the third season of his popular streaming series 'Aashram' has just released, recently shared how the show's creator and director, Prakash Jha, accommodated his special request to ensure smooth filming.

Bobby, known for his remarkable portrayal of negative roles, has truly honed his craft in this genre. Getting into the right mindset for a character requires a lot, and Bobby revealed that one of his key conditions for working on 'Aashram' was related to fitness. Speaking to news agency IANS ahead of the second part's release, Bobby opened up about his request to Prakash Jha.

Discussing his experience, Bobby said, “Prakash ji is incredible—he’s the producer, director, writer, and everything else on this show, but his energy is unmatched. I had one request for him: I needed a proper gym. We were shooting in Ayodhya during the first season, and when I arrived, the gym was all set up. I would head there at 5:00 or 5:30 in the morning, and Prakash ji would already be coming out of the gym. I used to ask him, ‘What is this?’ He would exercise in the morning and leave for the shoot at 7:00 am.”

Bobby further added, “He would come back in the evening and immediately dive into the scenes. His right-hand assistant, Madhavi, would go over the changes with me, and I’d visit her room every evening to get updates, knowing Prakash ji was still working tirelessly. I felt a responsibility to stay in top shape, both physically and mentally, because with his level of dedication, how could I complain about being tired or needing a break?”

The actor also shared that Prakash Jha’s approach to working on the show was unique. On the first day of shooting, Bobby mentioned how Prakash adjusted the lines slightly. “At first, it was a bit different from my usual style. The meaning of the lines stayed the same, but the phrasing shifted. There were times I’d change outfits to match the scene, and Prakash ji would have me re-record my dialogue. It made me feel really happy, as it showed how much he cares about his actors. He’s not just about making them comfortable—he wants them to constantly push themselves. It was an amazing experience working with Prakash ji,” Bobby expressed.
