IND vs NZ: After Phillips’ Blinder, Kane Williamson Joins The Party With A One-Handed Stunner To Remove Jadeja— WATCH

Kane Williamson took a one-handed blinder to dismiss the India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja as Kiwis continued to build pressure on the Men in Blue in the first innings of the Champions Trophy match.

Kane Williamson Catch in IND vs NZ Match: Former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson grabbed a one-handed stunner to get Indian batter Ravindra Jadeja dismissed in the India vs New Zealand ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match on March 2 (Saturday) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. Notably, Williamson's teammate Glenn Phillips also took a breathtaking catch earlier in the match to send the Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli packing as he grabbed a one-handed stunner at point.

Jadeja fell while attempting a cut shot on the penultimate ball of the 46th over by Matt Henry. The ball traveled to Williamson’s left at backward point and was dipping on him, but he timed his dive to perfection, grabbing a stunning one-handed catch. This crucial dismissal broke India's 41-run partnership and brought tailender Mohammed Shami to the crease.

Notably, Williamson's compatriot Glenn Phillips also took a one-handed blinder earlier in the match as he helped the Kiwis dismiss Team India legend Virat Kohli for just 11 runs in his 300th ODI appearance.

New Zealand made an ideal start after winning the toss and electing to bowl first in Dubai. Pacers Matt Henry and Kyle Jamieson rattled India's top order, reducing them to 30/3 in seven overs with the dismissals of Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, India managed to post 249 runs, thanks to a fighting knock from Shreyas Iyer.
