Breaking: Uttarakhand Rescue Operation Continues on 3rd Day, Four Workers Still Trapped in Chamoli Avalanche

The rescue operation in Uttarakhand continues on its third day, following the devastating avalanche in Chamoli. Four workers remain trapped under the snow, while 50 out of the 54 workers who were caught in the avalanche have been rescued. Sadly, four workers lost their lives during treatment, while 46 others are in stable condition. Two critically injured workers have been referred to AIIMS for further treatment. The avalanche occurred due to a glacier breaking apart in Chamoli, causing a severe disruption in the area.  Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is closely monitoring the ongoing rescue efforts and ensuring that proper medical treatment is being provided to the injured workers. Efforts to locate the trapped workers are still underway. High-tech equipment, including GPR machines and thermal cameras, has been deployed to locate the remaining three containers that are still buried under the snow. Additionally, the weather remains a challenge, with forecasts indicating deteriorating conditions in the afternoon. The government, military, police, and rescue teams are working tirelessly to provide assistance, with airlifts available for critical patients. The situation continues to evolve, and authorities remain committed to providing all possible support.
