Gujarat Titans IPL 2025 Retention List: GT have named a five-member IPL Retention 2025 list headlined by Shubman Gill.

Gujarat Titans IPL 2025 Retention List: Gujarat Titans have announced a five-member retention list ahead of the mega auction. The franchise revealed the list of players they have retained on IPL Retention 2025 List on Thursday (October 31). The list is headlined by Shubman Gill who will be leading the franchise in IPL 2025. Rashid Khan has too managed to get himself in the retention list. Rahul Tewatia, Sai Sudharsan and Shahrukh Khan are the other players who will continue to play for GT in IPL 2025.

Even though it will be Shubman who will be leading the franchise, Rashid gets the biggest paycheque at Rs 18 crore. Shubman fetched Rs 16.5 crore. Opener Sudharsan bagged Rs 8.5 Crore while uncapped Indian players Tewatia and Shahrukh will also be getting Rs 4 crore each. Their retention choices and salary distribution leaves them with a purse of Rs 69 crore heading into the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. They will have only one Right To Match (RTM) option available when they sit at the bidding war.

GT With An Underwhelming Season In IPL 2024

As far as GT's journey in IPL is concerned, they went on to win their title in their first year itself. They then reached the finals next year before captain Hardik Pandya was traded to Mumbai Indians (MI). Last year, Shubman took over as captain and the youngster failed to replicate Hardik's success with the team and they finished at the eight place on the points table with 12 points from 14 matches.
