Even though there is no official confirmation from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) or the IPL Governing Council, it seems like IPL 2025 Auction will be held in the month of November this time around. There is no official word on the IPL 2025 Auction Venue either but if media reports, including those carried by Hindustan Times and Cricbuzz are to be believed, the bidding-war will take place in Middle East with Saudi Arabia's Riyadh currently leading the race to brag the hosting rights of the mega-auction.
IPL 2024 Auction First Bidding-War To Be Held Outside India
IPL 2024 Auction was the first time that the pre-IPL event was held outside India. The high-profile affair was staged at the Coca Cola Arena on December 19. This year too the IPL 2025 Auction is all but confirmed to be staged outside of India. If the tentative timeline for the IPL 2025 Auction Date is to be believed, franchises will sit out to bid for players on a date in the third or the fourth week of November with November 24 and 25 being the dates mentioned in the Hindustan Times report.

If the tournament indeed happens on those dates, it will coincide with the third and fourth days of the Perth Test.
