The winning team of IPL 2025 will reportedly receive ₹20 crore - the same amount awarded since 2022.
The runners-up will take home ₹12.5 crore. To put this in perspective, the first IPL season winner, Rajasthan Royals, earned ₹4.8 crore, while the runners-up, Chennai Super Kings, got ₹2.4 crore. This shows a more than fourfold increase in prize money over the years.

Earnings for Playoff Teams
Teams who reached the playoffs also receive substantial rewards:
Team eliminated in the Eliminator stage (Gujarat Titans) get ₹6.5 crore.
Team knocked out in Qualifier 2 (Mumbai Indians) receive ₹7 crore.
There is also a Fair Play award given to the team showing the best spirit on the field.
