MUMBAI: Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday posted 178/6 in 20 overs against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL final here at the Wankhede Stadium. Skipper Kane Williamson top-scored for Hyderabad with a 36-ball 47 while Yusuf Pathan hit an unbeaten 25-ball 45 and Carlos Brathwaite smashed 21 off 11. Dhawan, who was determined to make an impact in the final, struggled to play against the Chennai bowlers and was offloaded by Rajendra Jadeja in the 9th over after missing a heave. Williamson, on the other hand, kept the scoreboard ticking and made sure he cleared the fence frequently. The Kiwi international was well supported on the other end by veteran Indian Yusuf Pathan. Williamson laced his innings with 5 fours and 2 maximums. When he was looking set for a big score, MS Dhoni on the bowling on Karn Sharma rattled his stumps after the SRH captain failed to pick the line of the ball bowled by the leggie.
