Will CSK Make Changes In Playing XI After Reaching Playoffs? Here's What Coach Fleming Said

IPL 2021: CSK has hinted at not making changes even after securing a place in the playoffs. CSK has made a special plan for senior players.

IPL 2021: Chennai Super Kings beat Hyderabad in Indian Premier League Season 14 on Thursday to secure a place in the playoffs. There won't be seen much change in CSK despite reaching the playoffs. Coach Stephen Fleming has made it clear that the team will work on managing senior players workload.

Coach Stephen Fleming also said that not many experiments will be done in the team. Fleming said, "I don't talk much about rhythm. We have to manage the work load of some players. We have one day and then we will go to Abu Dhabi. Then after one day, there is a match. In that case, we can give a chance to the players sitting on the bench but there won't be much experiments.''

The three-time IPL champions now have 18 points after nine wins in 11 matches and are the first team to reach the playoffs. Last year, Chennai could not secure the place in playoffs for the first time. Fleming said he did well in the last matches which gave him the confidence to return strongly this season.

One of the most successful teams

Fleming said, "In the end, we won four matches constantly. There were a lot of mistakes in the first half of the tournament. Our form was poor and confidence was down but the way we played the last match, we were confident that we would return strongly again.''

Chennai Super Kings is one of the most successful teams in the IPL history. CSK missed out securing place in the playoffs for the first time in IPL history last year. But now CSK has a great chance to finish in the top position.
