Nottingham [England], July 12: England scored 82 runs for the loss of three wickets at the end of 15 overs in their first match of the ongoing ODI series against India at Trent Bridge on Thursday.
Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow scored 38 each, while Joe Root departed early at 3.
Kuldeep Yadav took all of the 3 wickets.
The match started with India winning the toss and electing to field first as they play against England in the opening match of the One-Day International (ODI) series.
The highly anticipated series comes after India emerged victorous against the three lions 2-1 in their three match Twenty-20 International (T20I) series on Sunday.
