Background

New Delhi: After registering their first ever T2OI series win on New Zealand soil, team India will look to complete whitewash over the Kiwis by making it 5-0 when they lock horns with New Zealand in the fifth and final T20I at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.

With the Indians testing their bench strength in the last encounter at Wellington, they might once again look to try out  players like Kuldeep Yadav and Rishabh Pant who haven't got a game in India's brilliant campaign in the series.

Meanwhile, the Kiwis would be hoping that their seasoned skipper Kane Williamson is fit for the final T20I after he missed out on the last game due to a shoulder injury.

Squads:

India: Virat Kohli (capt), Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul (wk), Manish Pandey, Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur, Navdeep Saini, Washington Sundar.

New Zealand: Kane Williamson (capt), Martin Guptill, Ross Taylor, Scott Kuggeleijn, Colin Munro, Tom Bruce, Daryl Mitchell, Mitchell Santner, Tim Seifert (wk), Hamish Bennett, Ish Sodhi, Tim Southee, Blair Tickner.

An excellent bowling effort from the Indian bowlers after a heroic fifty from stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma helped team India complete a 5-0 whitewash against New Zealand as they win the final T20I by 7 runs. The Indian cricket team have now become the first team to win a T20I series 5-0.

Seifert and Taylor almost won the final game for their team, but the Indian bowlers picked up the next 6 wickets for just 25 runs to snatch a historic win.
