ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022: Final Groups And Fixtures Confirmed. Check Details

The groups and fixtures for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 have been finalized.

New Delhi: Australia, for the first time ever, is going to host the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The mega event will be held in seven cities from 16 October to 13 November 2022, with Geelong and Hobart hosting the first round. The groups and fixtures for the T20 World Cup 2022 have been finalized. Zimbabwe along with Ireland, Scotland, and the West Indies have qualified for the first round of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. Zimbabwe won Qualifier B by beating the Netherlands to finish last in Group B.

Namibia, Sri Lanka, UAE, and the Netherlands have got a place in Group A, while Ireland, Scotland, West Indies, and Zimbabwe have been placed in Group B. Talking about Group 1, it will have Afghanistan, Australia, England, New Zealand apart from Group A's winner and Group B's runner-up team.

Group 2 includes India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh, apart from the runner-up team of Group A and the winner team of Group B. In this way, there will be 8 teams in the first round, while there will be 12 teams in the second round.

Group A: Namibia, Sri Lanka, UAE and Netherlands
 
Group B: Ireland, Scotland, West Indies and Zimbabwe
 
Group 1: Afghanistan, Australia, England, New Zealand, Group A winner and Group B runner up
