New Delhi: Former India captain Virat Kohli has been battling poor form for a long time. Sadly, his struggle continued as he once again flopped with the bat in Ind vs Eng 3rd ODI at Old Trafford in Manchester. Kohli got out after scoring 17 runs in the series decider. The last few months have been very tough and testing for Kohli. He has not scored a single century since 2019.

Batting first at Old Trafford, England gave India a target of 260 runs. During this, Kohli came to bat at number 3 for Team India but he failed to last long on the crease. Kohli faced 22 balls and got out after scoring 17 runs with the help of 3 fours. He was sent to the pavilion by Reece Topley.

The last three years have not been good for Kohli. He has played 20 ODI matches between 2020 and 2022 so far. During this, he did not score a single century. Kohli scored 735 runs at an average of 36.75. Whereas before that he had scored 4039 runs in 65 matches from 2017 to 2019. During this, Kohli had scored 17 centuries.

If we look at Kohli's lowest average in a calendar year, it has been this year. He has scored runs with an average of 25.05 in 2022. Whereas earlier in 2008 his average was 31.80. Kohli's batting average was 36.60 in the year 2020.
