Cristiano Ronaldo Misses An Easy Tap-In, As Al Nassr Bows Out Of AFC Champions League - WATCH
Cristiano Ronaldo misses an easy tap-in, as his side bows out of AFC Champions League on pens. Read below.
Al Nassr Vs Al Ain: Al Nassr star player Cristiano Ronaldo produced a tame effort in front of goal, as he missed a sitter from 6 yards to put the match to bed in Al Nassr's AFC Champions League quarter final against United Arab Emirates's side Al Ain. The Portuguese superstar, who's a renowned poacher in front of the goals, is an expert when it comes to tap-ins and movement inside the box, but the horrendous miss of the player against Al Ain has now gone viral and several fans are mocking the 39-year old at his failure of slotting the ball past the Al-Ain keeper.

Cristiano Ronaldo hasn't always been known to be a good track back player and doesn't put in much defensive work, but his offensive deeds do more than justification for his work rate as he tends to be in the right place at the right time, as he scores goals at the crucial stages, and for that, his fans have nicknamed him the 'Ultimate Clutch Player'.
However, in recent years, his egoistic clashes with players and fans, be it on and off the field, have taken a big hit on his reputation and fans in Saudi Arabia, especially that of Al Nassr, are frustated at the five-time Ballon d'Or winner and are taking out their anguish against the player in media.

“All these big names Telles, Ronaldo. He screams and SIUU but during the game ghost. We had 6 chances, all wasted? The best player of the world? he should be the first one out."pic.twitter.com/JdjTchVJdP
Al Nassr, who were coming off a 1-0 defeat against the club in the first leg, didn't start well on home turf, as visitors were 2-0 up before the conclusion of the first half. However, Al Nassr pulled two back of their own, before a regular-time winner by Alex Telles settled the match at 3-2 and 3-3 on aggregate after 90 minutes, and the sides wlaked into extra time, where goals from Shamsi and Cristiano Ronaldo dragged the tie into penalties.
A horrid show in shootout by Al Nassr players gave away an easy 3-1 win to Al Ain in penalties, as Al Nassr, inspite of being one of the favourites, bowed out of the tournament in dismal fashion.
