Coronavirus in India: MS Dhoni gets trolled for donating 1 Lakh to help the daily wage workers in Pune

New Delhi: In the wake of coronavirus pandemic, former India skipper MS Dhoni came up with a heartwarming gesture as he donated Rs 1 Lakh to help the daily wage workers in Pune. Dhoni was highly praised by the fans for his noble gesture. However, despite being the top donor in the fundraiser, the beloved wicket-keeper batsman had to face the wrath of trolls on twitter, who felt that the amount donated by MS Dhoni for the needy, is too less. Here are some of the tweets- MS Dhoni's donation on a crowdfunding website Ketto, to the Mukul Madhav Foundation in Pune will support 100 families for 14 days amid the nationwide lockdown. Meanwhile, other Indian cricketers like Pathan brothers, BCCI President and ex-India captain Sourav Ganguly have also donated to help people combat the deadly COVID-19.
