All-Round India No Match For Bangladesh

Coming to the IND vs BAN 1st Test, India were put into bat first by Bangladesh's skipper, and despite facing early setbacks, made 376 runs with help of contributions from Ashwin’s sixth test hundred and Jadeja’s fifty. Batting second, Bangladesh could only score 149 runs after Jasprit Bumrah made the opposition batters’ life difficult.

India, batting in the second innings, again faced early setbacks but this time the contributions came from the bats of Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant with each of them bringing up their individual hundreds to help India set the target of 515 runs. Ashwin’s brilliance with the bowl made sure Bangladesh got nowhere near that target as he bagged a six-wicket haul to help India bowl Bangladesh out for 234 runs.
