Legends League Cricket (LLC) 2024 started with a bang with the Manipal Tigers (MT) and the Konrak Suryas Odisha (KSO) squaring off in the tournament opener at the Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur on Friday (September 20). It may have beeen a low-scoring encounter but it gave the fans the entertainment and excitement that they had hoped from the match. 

Konark Suryas Odisha batted first and managed to put on 104 on the board. In response, Manipal Tigers were in the match till the last over and found themselves needing 6 runs to win off 5 balls with Irfan Pathan having bowled a wide and conceded a six to start the over. Tigers also had 3 wickets in hand. However, Irfan came to his own in the final five balls of the innings and picked up the wicket off Obus Pienaar of the final ball to ensure that KSO win the match by 2 runs.

India Capitals Taking On Toyam Hyderabad In LLC 2024 Match 2

Meanwhile, India Capitals are taking on Toyam Hyderabad in LLC 2024 in match number 2 of the tournament. While the season opener was an evening game, the second match of the tournament has started at 03:00 pm (Indian Standard Time).

Toyam Hyderabad will be playing back-to-back matches with them set to take on Gujarat Greats (GG) in the third match of the tournament on Monday (September 22) with that match also set to start at 03:00 pm (IST).
